This NASA space photograph shows a section of the Christmas Tree star cluster, which has been nicknamed the 'Snowflake Cluster' by astronomers. The name comes from the area where newly born stars have formed in a regular configuration resembling a snowflake. This infrared image has green and brown tones, and was taken by the Spitzer Space Telescope.
